The SAT is a globally recognized standardized test used for undergraduate admissions in the United States and other countries. Designed to assess your readiness for college, it evaluates critical reading, math, and writing skills.

Test Format

The SAT consists of three main sections:
  • 1. Reading (65 minutes, 52 questions): Tests your ability to comprehend and analyze passages from literature, history, and science.
  • 2. Writing and Language (35 minutes, 44 questions): Focuses on grammar, punctuation, and sentence structure.
  • 3. Mathematics (80 minutes, 58 questions): Divided into two parts: 1. Calculator-allowed section 2. No-calculator section
Optional Essay (50 minutes): Some universities require the essay, which evaluates your ability to analyze an argument. The total duration of the SAT is 3 hours (3 hours and 50 minutes with the essay). SAT Fee The SAT registration fee is NPR 12,000, and the fee for the optional essay is NPR 15,000.
